I hear what you're saying, it's a damned good rifle but I can't justify it even though I have the green light. I'll opt out. Thanks for the talk. Sorry about your fusion, but they can do wonders for quality of life. I have seen plenty in my day back when I worked in the medical field.
Well rifle recoil against my shoulder sort of makes me nervous. I had severe stenosis that the main symptom was a limp with no pain. Once the surgeon saw an MRI they said I would have the surgery, or within a year I would be dead or parylized from neck down. I still have limp, and clonus, and loss of strength on right side. I never dreamed that my working life would end at 55 years old. Strange that I am more financially secure than ever though. I still miss work!!!!

Understandable, but there is other work that can be done. That is great about being financially secure. I am so not there yet, but I am trying.
How are you doing now physically? Is the VA taking care of you pretty well?
Sargent is my last name...never served in the military. I do have physical issues, on SSDI and Humana medicare advantage plan.

Oh okay I apologize, I should have asked instead of assuming. I'm applying for ssdi now. How much of a pita is that process?
In my case, I was approved on first stage of consideration...but most are not. My employer paid allsup to represent me in filing. They also required me to apply for SSDI in order to recieve LTD payments. My understanding is approval in the first phase is rare, but note that I have spinal cord damage...and that can not be healed.
Thank you for your service...I hope the VA gets their act together. The poor job it appears they have been doing is shameful.

Come November 9th you will be longing for the day of todays prices versus what the market will be doing then.
