I sure like USAA.
Just got my homeowners renewal notice and......the rates are dropping over $300 per year, my deductible is going down 50%, my coverages have been improved across the board.
I shopped comparables from Hartford, Nationwide, State Farm, All State and they ranged from $500 to $1000 per year more than USAA.
My auto policy did go up $50, but when considering my drop in homeowners and that I get $50-100 each yearend in policy divident....I'm happy with the package.

Congrats on the savings. In todays economy it's nice to get a break like that. My rates have been stable the last few years. They are fair, and have not increased, so I am happy too.
yeah...this was about a 20% decrease while coverages improved and deductible went down....previously USAA only offered 2% on wind/hail damage...now it is 1%.

Are you in a state where you can buy auto
coverage for a year? Most states are 6 months.
I am in NH which is a one year state.
I have Geico and very happy.
I am located in So Calif. and my insurance is yearly. I get my best deal from the Auto Club of So Cal.
My policy is 6 months. I'm not sure if this is a state reg or just how USAA does things.

txjohn,
I'm with you on the USAA bandwagon,
I just got my auto policy, renters insurance 're-newal' letters and they all dropped about 25-30% AND the coverage is better! Now THAT was a nice surprise!
USAA is going to be a part of my family for a looooonnnnngggggg time!
