Sure! It's where we cry because we're so amazed that anyone thought to do this. Think about sitting down to the Super Bowl to find a platter of snackies on the coffee table, a 12-pack in the fridge, and your S.O. in a slinky white satin nightgown. (For afters, of course).

If we can figure out what makes you happy, why can't y'all return the favor?

We'd love to! Just tell us what it is!

The food, the football, the beer and the SO in the slinky nightgown...that'll do it for guys. We're easy to figure out, like learning to play "whack-a-mole". No complicated rules...just whack-a-mole...that's it!

Women are more like complex video games; lots of buttons to work, hidden screens, tricks and traps all over the place, and sometimes not even a clue of where you're supposed to go. The "help" menu is no good, 'cause all it says is, "If you don't know, I'm not going to tell you!"

So there.

OK, lol, I'll have to admit that I've used that back in the day! Smiley Very Happy

But only because I had shared this info innumerable times in the past, and after a while, I figured that it could be retrieved from memory without all that much trouble. Smiley Wink

Re: Valentine's Day Flowers

See, that's where women get it wrong. The memory is reserved for such facts like Sports statistics and the scores of every Super Bowl ever played and such.

Re: Valentine's Day Flowers

Personally it's nice to be thought of at all.

BTW, most of us don't want video games, bowling balls, golf clubs, blenders, vacuum cleaners, microwaves, irons, sports tickets etc.

The most frequently appreciated gifts are Diamonds ( think simple guys, studs over cocktail pieces.  If you're doing earrings make sure that she has pierced ears or wants pierced ears!), Pearls (once again, think simple) Chocolate (preferably not drugstore/grocery store) and Flowers.

Stuffed animals are cute.... but what do you do with them after the novelty wears off?  Most people don't have room in their houses for 4' teddy bears!

Diamonds are cute... but what do you do with them after the novelty wears off?  Maybe use them to carve the sports scores into a stone?  Sorry Couldn't resist.

Re: Valentine's Day Flowers

Well, the one and only semi-microscopic diamond that I ever got was pretty d@mn useful on really bad days. Driving home from work, with the driver's window down, it was fun flashing it around in the sun and enjoying the sparkle.

I'm not a glam girl by any means, but I think I've been pretty low-maintenance. One diamond ain't that bad. Smiley Wink
