Weekend bank processing

Is anyone else upset that despite the advanced tech we have nowadays, nothing is processed over the weekends....? It's very frustrating for me haha

I actually think weekend processing would lead to a lot more overdrafts just like rolling batches with some banks (BBVA was one) throughout the day instead of processing all deposits and withdrawals first thing in the morning did.

It seems like US Bank is slow. Charge on Thursday night show up for processing on Tuesday  or Wednesday. Unreal.

I'll admit to being a little slow here. When you say "processing" what are you talking about?

The other day, I was in the Huntington bank parking lot. I wanted to withdraw a little over $1,000 in cash, but didn't have that much in my Huntington account. I logged into the usb app on my phone and ach pushed that amount from my usb to my hunt account. Five minutes later, I was back in the lot, cash in hand. Seemed to me, both banks did some pretty fast "processing". Saved me a trip to usb. 

I love instant ach.

Credit card processing in my post. Yes, USB is part of the "FedNow Service" system which is almost immediate for banking transactions.
