NOT counting the famous Amex 3x increases. We all know those are epic lol
For me, the best was 2.4k from Disco. Yeah, I know—that’s not so special. But basically all my decent CLIs have been from Discover.
For me it was $22,400 CLI from PenFed.
*Sorry AJC, with their generosity to me there just isn't any left for you. *
1K to 10K from Lowe's. But that's kinda cheating since it's a store card haha.
Nordstrom 2k > 12K...
BofA has given me $4-6k increases every 6 months for the last 2 years so that has been helpful!
Today, Neiman Marcus raised my SL from $14,000.00 to $25,000.00.
$10,000 (Chase, multiple times - $12,000 SL -> $20,000 -> $30,000 -> $40,000), though I've also never asked for more than $10,000 at once.
US Bank raised my limit from $10K to $25K back in 2008 without me actually asking for an increase and never having paid my card to $0 — they were loving the money they made off my interest. It was their premium 1.9%+prime variable card that lacked rewards. I don’t even know what it was called, they offered it to me in branch one day and I took it.
Since my rebuild, however, my best CLI was NFCU giving me $4500 on my cashRewards - I actually left money on the table by only asking for $7500 as evidenced by my $500 CLOC and $7200 second card approval a few days later.
$27k... going from my $3k SL on my Lowe's card to $30k with a quick phone call shortly after approval.
FWIW, I could have gone to their max of $35k, meaning that a $32k CLI was "possible" although I didn't push that far.
