Sadly not me!! i LOVE to see the rewards I have gotten for using my cards. Free movie tickets or credit statements make me happy.

Same with me. That is why I have such a wide array of reward cards!

Its a mixture of both.

The cards I have are personal. I like the cards I have and have a sense of accomplishment when I am approved but I keep them to myself. I'm not into flashing what I have when I go out or around my friends as I feel its silly/superficial (no offense).

I'm a huge shopper and I am obsessed with getting good deals on things. I am fortunate enough to be able to buy whatever I want and shop pretty much everyday. When I'm shopping, I'm mindful of combining deals/coupons with cashback/points.

In before this gets moved to smorg....

I like rewards better, card being fancy looking is just bonus. Ugliest card I have so far is orbitz with purple monstrosity. It used to be ventureone for being tacky gold nightmare, but I took care of that problem with custom image.

Lol...I think almost everyone here has the strategy of attaining cards simply for rewards. Hell, every card i have is a rewards card...Wait, except the Slate. I hate looking at it. It makes me sad.

presently my plan is CSP+EDP+INK plus for everything!! Its all about rewards for me presently trying to find airline/hotel partners that give me best value. Presently Korean Air is showing some nice value for some vacation places I wouldn't mind visiting 45k RT Business from JFK to Maui for one, and second first clas from JFK to BKK  for 170k which is a decent deal, since tickets normally go for nearly 20k :-)
