Come on let's face facts if there was a CC out there that offered AMAZING perks like 7% on everything and was called the Prostate Card you guys WOULD NOT care what it looks like or what it is called......It would simply be everyone chiming in saying "I love my prostate", 'Never leave home without my prostate' , 'My Prostate is alway my go to for everything', "Cashiers always compliment me on my Prostate' , 'My Prostate is very generous' , well you get the picture.
As I once more date myself on this forum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht7Jmp4tZsk

I'm not sure if I'd go for the prostate card, but even if I do... then I'd just call it "pro" rather than by the full name
I am not like the OP - like the rewards and simply rebuilding my credit profile at age 55.
CA is taunting me about the AARP Chase card... and I'll grab that one day. I'm a member and they send me offers quite often.
Finally, if this was over on Smorgasboard, I would not have read it. It's a good read so hope it stays here.
From my perspective, rewards are fun, much like a hobby. For me, it's a lot more fun and interesting to accrue points & miles to maximize the value for redemption and earnings rate than it is to accrue straight cashback.
Interesting sometimes I feel like i'm the only one who really looks at the Interest Rate and Cash Rewards (I rarely travel).
Some of the CC products out there require a flowchart, spreadsheet, and Powerpoint presentation by the legal department to fully determine what your Rewards benefits encompass. But it's great when I hear about those who do!

Which cards(s) are you thinking of? I don't know of cashback cards with a very complex system these days, Citi's flight point scheme was overly complex, but that has gone.

Sorry I should clarify that, I was referring to some CC Point / Rewards programs But on that note do folks find themselves calling to simply answer questions and gain insight only to get connected to a foreign call center and now are faced with a language barrier on top of a complicated situation?

You have an Everyday card, right? The MRs can be used to transfer to partner frequent flier programs. In fact, thats sort of the point of the MR program
