Moosetracks (Dean's Farm - when we're in Chicago, the other versions aren't as good)

Breyer's White Mint Chocolate Chip

Breyer's Coffee (with hot fudge, talk about comfort food????)

Edy's Karaoke Chocolate Mint cookie

Edy's limited edition Thin Mint Ice Cream (haven't seen it in ages)

and today, stumbled on Breyers Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip...decadent...

Who needs dinner when there's ice cream?

Baskin Robbins peanut butter and chocolate is my absolute favorite. 

Haggan Daas Dulce de luce is my second, but anything with whip cream and hot fudge on it will do!

Frozen custard is the stuff hot summer nights in MI and WI are made of.  They just don't "get" it here.  Carvel - well, if it's what you grew up with, you like it.  But custard, it ain't.

Kopps it is, best quality.  Culver's will do in a pinch.

Great.  Now I'm homesick again.

And the homemade goat's milk flavors we get from a local farmer.. OMG.. you have not had ice cream til you've had raw goat's milk pumpkin pie ice cream. Or strawberry! Or peanut butter! TO DIE FOR!

The italian gelatin guy comes by the base every day at 1400 (2 for non-mil types)!  At home, I love mint choco chip & cookies & cream.
