The problem is, running the forum is not likely to be profitable.
Actually, running the forum is probably highly profitable:
These guys are easily getting a $25 PLUS commission each time sombody clicks an cc app advertisement on here. That's dirt cheap bottom minimum - they're probably getting much more per app or lead generated. Forums keep people coming back to the site over and over again. Those people in the forums are going to click ads and fill out apps. That's money in the bank for myFICO.
Not to mention the site's traffic is probably highly organic and that organic traffic is generated from the forum's content being found in the search engines (not to mention direct links to forum content).
All that traffic not only translates into leads that are paid for by the credit card companies to myFICO, but tons of forum members end up buying myFICO products and monthly subcriptions...
No, running this forum is highly, highly profitable IMO.
