Re: myFico Addiction

This site is actually productive as facebook, twitter are time burners... it's helped my credit score tremendously! But, it has murdered my production at work lol i'm still #1 in sales in my office but i could be doing SOOO much better.

Re: myFico Addiction

I totally understand the addiction. I joined in 2008 but i ddin't do anything. But Nov of last year I started logging on and reading and replying to posts.

I have calmed down since I used to log on at least 5 times a day and spend about 2-3 hours reading mostly the 'Rebuilding credit' section.

Now I'm on average 1 hour a day. But you will see people that have recentyl signed up and already have 1000+ posts; and i thought i spent too much time on here Smiley Happy

But with this addiction, I heave learnt a lot of things concerning credit amd its many meanings. It's time well spent. Knowledge is never a waste.

I'd rather be addicted to myfico than facebook or twitter to be honest.

Re: myFico Addiction

This is the only website "community" type place that I've ever belonged to where people were open to discussing money. If my husband and I would have had a place like this to come to, and learn from, 40 years ago when we were first married, we would be SO much better off today.  We are genuinely thankful to have found my FICO. True! You are one of the old timers. I remember March of 2007 and you were posting away.

Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our stary notions along the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

Those were the days my friend
We'd thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance
Forever and a day

We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young
And sure to have our way

The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid
