After School Loan Fresh Start, will past late payments for defaulted loan be removed?

My wife just got approved for Fresh Start. Once she is set up with a new servicer, will the lates from her defaulted loan be removed? I have cleaned up her credit completely, so the only thing left are those lates on her student loan.

Every fresh start post I've read has the lates being removed and the student loan history being completely clean afterwards. It does take a bit to go through whole program, so patience is key.

Thanks.  We got my wife going on the new payments this past week. So I will let you know when I see the updates on her credit report.  This is the last thing on her credit report I haven't been able to resolve, so she'll be squeakly clean after this!
