Consolidating and Credit Score

I consolidated my student loans so I wouldn't have to pay on them while I have transferred to another school ( it was longer than 6 months trasnferring ) and I was told my score would go up once I did this....but i'm not seeing any improvement.  It was in March that I consolidated.

did your school tell you that?  i've never heard that, but i can't say it's wrong....when did you last check your scores?

The loan people told me that before I consolidated....

my monitoring service says that i currently have too many installment loans and if i were to consolidate my student loans to one my score "prediction" goes up 20 points.  I know thats not at all accurate.  But that is what mine says.
