Instead of the one that I had, that last month reported w/ a zero balance, now I have 3.

What they did was, made two accounts out of my big one - one for subsidized and the other for the unsubsized loans.  I got 8 point increase for this.  At least I think I did.

And the left the original one that was zero'd out.   Which makes 3 instead of 1.   Hope this info helps other Directloans folks.

Which CRA's are showing this for you?  Only Equifax has this for me.  It orginallay droped 14 points now up 9 so no increase for me though.....  Experian just yesterday showed the old one as closed.  TU has shown it closed for a while but not the new tradelines...  I'm trying to be optimistic.  I need my last twelve months clean to show...

EQ only that I know of.  Credit Karma has nothing for TU and who knows how to look up EX anymore?
