SC Student Loan Help

I have a student loan that is broken up into 3 seperate loans for each semester I'm assuming. All 3 were severly defaulted last year around this same time. I completed a rehabilitation program and now SC Student loans is back in possession. It's also reporting on my credit report now as 'Pays as agrees' in account status. But on myFico it has a negative flag in the Accounts category and from checking equifax.com it also shows comments such as: was delinquent. Last reported delinques and things of that nature. Is it possible to have those negative comments removed? This is one of my oldest accounts reporting on my Credit. I'm at a 540 right now. I'm hoping that will increase it enough for me to get the wells fargo secured card and rebuild my revolving credit. thank you for any advice or help.

Re: SC Student Loan Help

Would a call be out of the question? Or an email?

No, you could certainly try those.  Some people have success with those avenues.

Re: SC Student Loan Help

Well i've got some partial good news. As of a few minutes ago I called the SC Student Loan (after calling yesterday and not receiving a call back) and it looks like they received my message that first call, so when I talked to the credit specialist just now. She said account was undergoing review to have the negative remarks removed and that it had been submitted yesterday. She said she would give me a call today when they have come to a conclusion. I finished my rehabilitation in November or December 2012 and it was handed back over to SC Student Loan at that time so I've been making automatic payments since then I believe. Hopefully that's enough time to show a good payment history with them. I guess if they decline i'll try in another 3 months since it seems like it would be possible to undergo another review with a longer payment history. I'm so excited.

Re: SC Student Loan Help

well a small update. I got all the comments removed. Well not sure it was really me who got them removed but their gone. Only problem now is that all the late payments are keeping it in the negative accounts section. I tried to call today about getting them removed and the lady told me "We can't go back in the past and remove." Has anybody that has gone through a rehab and picked up or repicked up by SC Student loans had their lates removed?
