Valentine's Survey Results

Thanks to the more than 1,500 of you who took the survey and shared your thoughts with the community!

Here are some highlights of the results:

** People are 4 times more likely to be "cheapskates" than "extravagant" this Valentine's Day.

** Men were nearly twice as likely as women to discuss finances right away.

** Almost 10% felt that a person's FICO score was an indicator of their willingness to give a great Valentine's Day gift.

** Nearly 60% preferred to date someone in the FICO Score range of 550-700.

** Men were 6 times more likely to choose "good looking" as the most important characteristic in a date.

** 20% of couples described their partner's spending habits as drastically different from their own, while over 45% described their partner's spending as only moderately different from their own.

Someone with a 749 would meet the minimum standards of 96% of respondents while an 800 could get a date from everyone!.

Re: Valentine's Survey Results

4 percent of survey takers date anybody

If I'm reading this correctly...

...fully 4% of survey respondents prefer their dates to have a pulse...

Re: Valentine's Survey Results

Most people know that it is rare especially in this economy to have a score of 700+++

so you have to be real about your expectation of a person.

Starting Score: EQ: 583 TU: 623
Current Score: EQ: 624 TU: 701
Goal Score: Both Scores 680 Plus!

Dang, if your score is that low the only good things you do have are a name and a pulse.  Too funny.  Never underestimate the power of the human drive to procreate. Smiley Very Happy

Re: Valentine's Survey Results

600 - 650 Ficos don't get any dates

  ............................................................................................................................ ^ .............................................................................

If I'm reading this correctly...

...53% of respondents would date someone with a minimum FICO of 600 or less, and 47% would date someone with a minimum FICO of 650 or more, meaning the 601 - 649 FICOs will never, ever get a date,  'cause there's NOBODY LEFT...

 :smileyvery-happy:

(I love surveys...)

Re: Valentine's Survey Results

Those with lower credit scores have led more interesting lives.

Crazy people make better lovers.

A crazy person with lower credit scores? I hear wedding bells!
