@Junejer totally understand the evasive 850 goal. My dream is to reach it with just one CRA.

After being in the garden for nearly two years I opened a couple new cards at the end of last month. They will report in a few days so I'm bracing for a temporary ding to my scores on my journey to 800. The HPs didn't move my scores so fingers crossed that the impacts of the new accounts are minimal.
Yeah, I had two at 850 and EQ just sat stubbornly at 849. Pffftt. It was just a game I was playing to keep me interested in this whole FICO mess, but I'm over it. The scores will have to be what they will be. I'm assuming they will all remain over 800. If not, meh!

Update
Woke up to a bunch of alerts about credit score increasing. From Ally's free Experian 8 check your score feature my Experian score jumped 19 points to 607 with the addition of the Ally card. Confirmed on Experian.com; All "free" updates that use TU are still the same.
I did not realize how volitile credit scores are. Probably going to turn off notifications to avoid "obsessive monitoring" and stick to 3 bureau pulls/
Thank you everyone for listening.
Cheers!
I've been working on my emergency fund and negotiating loan from family member to pay off charge offs. So far so good--I will be getting first check to start paying these puppies off this weekend, so I'm looking forward to that. Working on goodwill letters to attempt to clear the COs. You miss every shot you don't take, right?
Otherwise, happy to get at 3k limit on C1 Quicksilver earlier this year. Looking forward to cs boost from paying charge offs--I have my eye on Amex BCP and BoA Cash Back Visa. Hoping to just stay still and grow with those three cards for a while. Working to completely fund emergency fund by September. Slowing down my mortgage goals until 2026 so that my overall financial picture makes sense when that happens. Thanks to the board for all help!!
@CaneVariant Good for you for your upper movement of your credit scores! Good luck!!
Congratulations on your credit journey!
@Chazzay12 Nice work on the Roth IRA! I feel affirmed by your post--I also recently opened a Roth IRA for the first time. I'm auto-saving just a small amount from every paycheck. Like you, I'm happy to have established a place where I can put more $ as debt goes down.
Anyhow--good work! High five
