New 3B pull. Good month!
Only the second time I've seen this in the couple years I've been tracking it, every single one of my FICO scores went up. Usually some go up, some go down, a few stay the same. They went up by an average of 11.2 points.
My Aggregate utilization went up 4% but have that go back down by March. My scores took 20+ hit due to a medical collection reporting under $500 so i disputed it and can "PFD". My TU already closed it, but EX still showing open so im going to "PFD". That should bring my EX score to 670+. Next cards will hopefully be the Amex BCE for the 15 month 0% APR and the Gold.
No score changes yet. I was pre-approved for a Lexus Visa (no hard pull from Comenity), but they sent me a Lexus store card instead all the while stating that I had the Visa, so I had them just cancel that card as I don't have a Lexus and would never have used it. It did have a $2,000 limit though and after asking her to just cancel the card, I thought I should have kept it open for the utilization issue. Anyhoo, they told me to reapply for the Visa with no hard pull, which I did, and was told I'd get a letter in 10-14 days. I really don't need that card, so I think I just got excited to see the pre-approval. If I don't get it, no biggie. I am still on track and am anxious to see how my scores grow over the next few months.

P.S. Do I still get to keep my bronze spade or do I have to go back to the seedling considering this was a pre-approval?

@UncleB wrote:Garden Club recognition levels: To qualify, your reports must contain:
- No new tradelines of any type on one's accounts
- No HPs for anything that would allow for the possibility of a new tradeline being issued or increasing the CL of an existing tradeline
Checking in! Feb is off to a great start. We looked at a couple houses, but we are still a bit early and nothing we fell in love with. Beginning of March is our sweet spot for buying the house.
Also, I checked Experian today and saw I had a 15 point increase! Up to 683 EX Fico 8! Getting closer to the goal of 700. I'm not sure exactly what changed, as my Utilization stays low. However now it says "You have a sufficient number of accounts that are currently paid as agreed" which is a new message.
woohoo! Making progress.
My Experian finally went over 670 ! For the first time it shows 677 updated today. From Fair to Good.
Back up over 800 on FICO again, according to AmEx, after a dip for holiday utilization and a couple of HPs.
Still 2/6, 2/12, 2/24 so no new HP. I'm trying to lay low gardening for now with a possible mortgage later in the year.
