I know you are all hard at work with your credit goals. Have you progressed as far as you hoped? Were there any unforeseen expenses that cropped up and may have thrown you off schedule?
As a reminder, participation in these monthly check-ins is optional but encouraged. The goal is to help keep you on track, so feel free to post your progress updates here. This is a no-judging zone; feel free to say what's keeping you up at night or give yourself a Kudo for having it all together.
Did you hit any potholes or speedbumps? Achieve some milestones, either small or mighty? Change your goals or add new ones?
Let us know how you're doing!
Oh the land of opportunities and Thanksgiving
Again, time for me to AZEO and pay more on the Heloc. Need to get the debt back on track.
Interest rates on credit are not our friends!
Last month all 40 scores went up by an average of 14 points. I said in my post at the time that that bubble was about to burst due to more utilization coming, and it did. Most scores went down, a few went up. Average across all 40 is -2.95 points. Could have been worse. It will come back up over the next couple months as my utilization creeps back down (barring any unexpected expenses).
My Experian fico 8 has reached its highest score to date, currently at 661. All of my accounts are under 10% except my Freedom Flex and Amazon Prime. I need to pay down the Flex so i can gain some more points. I activated my Hilton Honors Surpass card and enrolled in the Priority Pass Select, and waiting for my American Express Rewards Checking Debit card to arrive.
Got a nice surprise when I updated today. EQ crossed 700! Feels good. 10 months into my rebuild and a 90 point increase!
The other two are lagging as I wait for CAs to drop (22 momths for EX and 5yrs for TU). Had to exit the garden temporarily for a business loan. Fingers crossed on that one. They pulled EQ, which works in my favor.
Thanks all for the guidance, it's been invaluable!

WOW! A 90 point increase ... now that is something to "crow about" ...
I paid off one of my cards, and my car refinance loan is reporting now after 3 months. My EX Fico 8 now at 665, almost "Good" which is a big deal for me.

Keep up the good work and have faith! Many of us on this Forum understand how good "665" really feels ... especially after taking the deep dive.
You will get there with patience ... the hardest part!

Congrats! We're in the same place right now. Time and patience.
