I just paid off my Discover CC so now all I have is $10,000 on my Bank of America.  With Christmas coming up, I'm hoping to pay for all the gifts with cash only and not use any of my credit cards.  I may not be able to pay my Bank of America down as fast as I wanted to but hopefully by April 2015, it should be paid off.  Fingers crossed.

Joined the fitness challenge in 4/2014 & met al my goal by 8/2014.  Which were: 1) Improve FICO score to 760 - 850 range 2) Get pre-approved for new home loan 3) Buy new home in Bay Area (relocating near adult kids).  In August I established a new goal:  1) not have more, total debt, for credit cards and student loans than I had at the beginning of 2014.

Prior to purchase of new home, I was on track to pay off all credit card debt by 11/2014 and student loan by 12/2014. 

Thus my goals (after purchase of new home) is to keep total CC and student loan debt below my 1/2014 balance and by March 2015 develop new plan to pay off cc & student loan debt.

Hello all,

It has been a wonderful month of great accomplishment...I closed on my house on October 22, 2014. I'm still in amazement. However, my journey is not over; I am on a mission for overall good credit.. Since closing I have been on a bit of a credit spree..desparately seeking a Lowe's, Home depot or Sears card. So have to do a bit of recon. As soon as I have accomplished one of those cards. Any suggestions would be useful.I will be gardening until 05/2015.
