@Anonymous wrote:The credit scores provided under the offers described here use the Equifax Credit Score, which is a proprietary credit model developed by Equifax. The Equifax Credit Score and 3-Bureau credit scores are each based on the Equifax Credit Score model, but calculated using the information in your Equifax, Experian and TransUnion credit files. The Equifax Credit Score is intended for your own educational use. It is also commercially available to third parties along with numerous other credit scores and models in the marketplace. Please keep in mind third parties are likely to use a different score when evaluating your creditworthiness. Also, third parties will take into consideration items other than your credit score or information found in your credit file, such as your income.
no where dose it say anything about the score watch not being a fico score they are takling about all the other prouducts they offer
You're mistaken but ok. Let me make it clearer. Again from their own web site:
Important Disclosure: The Equifax credit score is based on an Equifax credit score model and are not the same scores used by 3rd parties to assess your creditworthiness.
it is not a FICO score. They sell two different scores, , ones a FICO, ones not. Ones $19.95 and the FAKO is $15.95
taking what you said i called Equifax and asked and was told that they use the same fico modle for score power as score watch so saying that how can you tell us all here that they are not the same, you can not always believe what you read on this site it tells us that the fico score that they sell here is what all the lender use LOL
Equifax score watch and score power = FICO It says Fair Isaac and FICO 4-5 times in each description. But looking at the wording it makes it sound kind of funny.
The FICO Credit Score is based on a proprietary credit model designed by Fair Isaac and is not the same as scores used by 3rd parties to assess your creditworthiness.
All other Equifax products= FAKO

Correct. I looked further and the score watch is the monthly monitoring service of score power. They are FICO scores (04 model) The Equifax credit Score is a FAKO. If you look on this page, the middle block of reports you can purchase are the FAKOs and the bottom are the FICOs. It's important to know which you buy. The FAKOs are completely meaningless .
So Irish80 what i said was correct score power and score watch are the same scores and they are fico 04
@Anonymous wrote:So Irish80 what i said was correct score power and score watch are the same scores and they are fico 04
That's correct. I mistakenly thought the score watch was the Equifax credit score which is a FAKO. They do sell both the FICO and the FAKO scores.
My current Myfico scores are eq- 645 tu- 626 ex- 658. I pulled my equifax power score and it was 633. I have been paying down my utilization on my two cc and my scores have been increasing the last couple of months. I paid one of my cards off and will be paying the other one down from 40% utilization to about 8%. I really need to have a nice bump for my preapproval this month. I really need a mid score of 660 to get the financing that I need. Do you think this is even possible???
And if you do a new pull here on myfico younow get 04 scores for EX and EQ, not yet TU. But with 2 you can know the lowest possible midscore...
The pulls here I thought were 08 not 04 did that change??
@talktohoov wrote:The pulls here I thought were 08 not 04 did that change??
If you make a new pull here, now you get a whole slew of scores. Bankcard enhanced, Auto enhanced, 04, 08 and a couple older versions for EX and EQ. look at the products section and it describes the changes.
