@Deuter wrote:I usually keep my cards at 0% util. Per recommendation i am closing today with 1% util accross all my cards. My Experian will update in about a week or less.
I am eager to see the changes in doing AZEO with 1%, hopefully score improves.
You should expect around +16pts, give or take a few.
Using a myFICO subscription, I was able to observe changes at all 3 CRAs as I switched which card was at zero. So I was temporarily at ALL ZERO until a few days later when the 2nd card reported a non-zero balance.
You can see what that looks like in this post.
Huh there's a problem with me i don't have an SSN so i can't look at my scores as freely as a normal person. But i can report results, before and after of what's available for me (FICO 8 Experian, FICO 8 Bankcard Equifax, TU Vantage, EX Vantage). Hey it is what it is! I am already doing a lot without not knowing my number on file, the one that the Bureau's search me by.
Thanks for the post! it is very informative, last statement i had balance on 2 than my usual 1 so that must be along other things why it went down last time. My file is also going through changes.. but hopefully most of them are already in place. So i expect like a stable score reading.

@Anonymous wrote:Can you share a reference that demonstrates that they sometimes don't report utilization under $5? I think I've had them report a utilization of $2 on a $200 limit citi diamond secured before. Would have been a year ago so I can't recall for sure.
@Anonymous , can you answer that question?
I've never had a card report a non-zero balance below $35.
Really? Synchrony reported me for a $1 one time. Off cycle reported me, no less.
@Anonymous I went and dug through my reports. Here you can see that NFCU reported $1.

@Anonymous I should have stated that differently. I meant that I have never had a statement closing balance below $35. I've always been at either $0 or $35+.
Someone must have had a small balance not report for that to make it into the 'common collective wisdom' on AZEO. I have never tested this myself. I really don't know how that recommendation got started, or if it's even true to begin with.
I just thought you might know which cards don't report a small balance.

That's the one where you should see around +16pts when switching from All Zero to AZEO.
Well it's the most proper one i have thanks to AMEX.
Because the other one's are like modifications (looking at you citi), and not so accurate with the Vantage.

Yeah, that Citi EQ Bankcard 8 score is hard to use since they take the snapshot around 10 days before they show it to you. I have a Citi Costco Visa card. There can be quite a lot of changes in 10 days.
I would love to compare your AZEO results to the ones I have with only 2 cards and relatively new credit history (2yr5mo total, 1yr5mo with credit cards). It should be better for you, since you would have 3 cards with only 1 reporting a balance.
I tracked my first year of having credit cards using myFICO's Premier subscription, and reporting everything in detail each month here on the forum. This is one of the AZEO reports: 22 of 28 FICO scores are up this time. Minimum gain, +2pts. Maximum gain, +27pts.

Sure i'll be happy to share them with you.
Here is my current Age of Accounts. You are very similar to me regarding average age, scores. Stats. I believe you are a notch with an older file than me
BTW- Wow that siggie must be hard work!!

Yes, very similar, but you win on this one because I didn't get a credit card until after I had 1 year of history paying down a small loan.
I only have 1yr 5mo total revolving history. I seem to be about 20-30pts behind someone that has 2yr 5mo revolving history.

The only typing I need to do for that is updating the 4 balance amounts. Aging and utilization are automatically calculated.
It's basically an SVG form template.
Well i just noticed that my Experian went up from 734 to 752!!
However, it's not all AZEO... i got added an old account that was missing... My 2 year oldest account was still not reflected on my 734 EX score... and now it got fixed, plus i did the 1% util Azeo.
Will see more clearly changes in both TU and EX Vantage as these in a more frequent basis... and had my oldest account reported... so in theory it will be clearly to see the AZEO.
