@Brian_Earl_Spilner wrote:Have to say, I'm really disappointed. 6th card updated to 0.61% UTI from over 80 because of trailing interest. Aggregate crossed a threshold to 41.5% and all I got was 3 points from TU.
The way everyone talks about thresholds, I expected a point here and a point there as the payoffs happen, and I'm getting nothing. 1/3 of my cards paid off with a $6400 balance left and my scores have barely moved compared to what's normally spoken of.
Frustrating.
Congrats on the payoff progress.
Do you have any individual cards still over 50%? If so what is the updated list of individual non-zero utilization cards? My experience is 50% individual card util is a significant swing point. And if you still have multiples over 50%, well that's where you are waiting for the big moves.
Delta Plat - 85.5%
Delta Gold - 38%
Walmart - 81%
Quicksilver - 88.8%
Wayfair - 19%
Overstock - 54.8%
Kohl's - 35%
Navy - 80%
Nordy - 20%
PayPal - 89%

Ok, when you get down to 1 card over 50%, then look for the leaps in score. Until then, there's still some reporting to update, and baby steps of score improvement.
Good data sequence, thanks for sharing.
All of the larger ones should update in the next few days leaving NFCU for the 24th and I don't even remember when PayPal updates. Maybe the 20th? Regular due date is the 16th or 17th.
7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th cards reporting paid. Unfortunately, because of trailing interest and using the wrong card, it looks like I'll end up being AZE3 as of right now. The total balance will be under $50 out of $16900. EX +6

10 of 19 reporting a balance, not including Gold or chargeoff.
2 more cards will update today, 2 more in 2 days, 1 on the 21st, 2 more on the 24th
Few things I should note, have a paid off installment loan that's still reporting at 41%. Car is reporting at about 70%. One collection should be zeroed or removed shortly.
Delta Gold cut today with a trailing interest balance of $2.29 🤦♂️
Looks like I'll be at AZE4. I'll wait until everything updates and then start requesting off cycle reporting to see what happens as I get to AZEO
That's what happened to me last month. Paid off eight cards and they all cut with $6-11 balances. Now finally this week the next round of statements will cut and I'll finally see $0 balances. I'll let you know if it makes a difference scorewise.

Yeah, forgot I went to a month of minimum payments until I found out what my employment status would be. Luckily, my balances are with disco, cap1, and amex, so I can request off cycle, but I'm sure amex and disco will be lolwut about $2.92 and $8 respectively.
Also, a little annoyed that amex pulled my score 5 days early for the AR. Now I'll definitely have to request a HP for my Bonvoy app.
Yeah I had more than min payments but I had carried balances and paid them off at end of cycle, so the average daily balance is what got me for trailing interest.
CapOne QS cuts Wednesday the 20th, Surpass cuts on the 21st, It Chrome cuts on the 26th, Delta Gold and Hilton cut on the 30th, and BCP cuts 6/3. All will report true zero for the first time so we'll see if six more cards at $0 (which puts me over 50% reporting zero) influences my scores. I'll let you know so at least you'll have an idea on how it affects you when it happens.

Well, keep in mind the main effect of AZEO is that it gets the cardholder down to very low utilization, and no high utilization on any one card. Your situation will soon be very low utilization, with several cards reporting. My guess is, that will give you another set of datapoints. You will have a simple "low utilization" score result, as the first round. Then as more cards are pushed into the Zero category, you will see a few extra points as your card count goes down to one active.
And I really don't think extra points from improving card count are going to be a significant part of this update.

It will be interesting to see score changes as accounts are zeroed out. As long as I get the bulk of my points from the paydowns, I'm fine.
2 more accounts updated. Delta Gold posted with $2 balance and QS posted with $31 balance.
