100 Apps in a day

My fico 08 scores are all over 800 and I've always been concerned about how a hp makes my score go down. This is fairly common on these boards, but I've always wondered if I fill out 100 apps in a day...how much would my score actually drop? Does anyone know anyone who has tried it? I really am kind of tempted just to find out.

Can't say what the exact number would be, but it'd probably be the equivalent of your score jumping off the Empire State Building. Ready to give it a shot and find out?

Yeah like a lot of things it's fun until the next morning when reality or the hangover kicks in.

the drop in score from an inquiry has a diminishing returns effect. Example, my EX report gets hit the most - and it stopped dropping after about 10 hard pulls over a few month span. 

EQ, on the other hand, rarely gets pulled and dropped about 10 points each from PenFed and Discover's 2 pulls (1 each).

So how much do you think 100 pulls in a day would drop it?

I'd have to imagine every open non-amortized account you have would drop you.

The score might fair ok though. My best guess with no evidence at all, would be a drop of 50-60 points per CB if you have a good mix of pulls.

Now if you app Cap1 100 times...

What would really be bad is if I got 100 approvals.

What would be even worse is if you got 100 approvals and Barclays didn't AA you.
