125 Point Difference between TU & EX?!

Any idea why there is such a huge discrepancy between my TU score (522) and EX (637)?

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Where did you get your scores, from myFICO?  If so, they are different models/versions.  TU being an older model, EX the newer one.  Both of them account for different things on your CR differently and each CRA has different scoring criteria.

Thank you for your speedy reply! Yes, they are both myFICO scores. After learning about FAKO scores on these boards, I've disco'd my Credit Sesame, Quizzle, and other subscriptions- I'm sticking with myFICO!

Have you pulled your actual CR's to compare them?

TU sold from MyFICO is FICO 98 Classic.

EX sold from MyFICO is FICO 08 Classic.

Do you have a thin file? If so, I think the older models hurt you more.

My scores had 96 point difference on the same day between FICO 04 and FICO 08.
