2 to 3 CCs

How much score increase can you expect going from 2 to 3 open CCs with no other open accounts? I am considering adding myself as an AU on a store card so the AAoA will remain unaffected. The utilization will remain at 1% with a balance on exactly one card.

Can the score decrease going from 2 to 3 CCs?

Re: 2 to 3 CCs

Your score can be impacted by AAofA.  What is it now and what will it be when you are added?

Do you have other accounts reporting?

AAoA will go from 7.9 to 7.8 years.

I have no other open accounts.

Do you know your FICO scores? When did you open the two cards? Does this AU account have open date older than your two cards?

11 years and 1 month respectively. The AU would be 6+ years old.

Since AAoA is rounded down for scoring you'll be fine as far as that's concerned.

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802
EQ - 7/06-663, 3/10-800, 10/10-813
TU - 10/10-774
You can do the same thing with hard work

My best guess is this new AU account probably won't hurt your scores. That said, it might not help a whole lot either.
