20 point drop in FICO EX-Don't Understand Why

Ok everyone! My Discover Card with the $9 balance reported to Ex. I got all 20 points back! Yaaaay!!!

Thanks for all of your advice, comments, suggestions. I will also play around in the next month or so with reporting two balances and see what happens.

Glad to hear it!  Nice work!

It's happened to me once or twice that I've reported all 0's without realizing it and I was surprised when I pulled my scores after.  Once I realized that it doesn't matter how many of my cards report a balance (on my profile) I just let several report balances now just to be sure.

Thanks BBS!! This is definitely something that I will try to prevent from happening again. If my scores were in the mid to high 700s, I probably wouldn't care so much. But, when I am at 690 and it drops to 670, the decrease just seems to drastic. I'm hopefully due for CLI on some of my cards soon. I don't want my score to be so much lower than the score I was approved with a couple of months ago!!
