20 point score drop

IMG_0944.jpeg

Yesterday, I went car browsing. I did not do any hard pulls and no new inquiries popped up but I got this 20 point drop notification.  I did a soft pull through my existing banking institution (BoA) but that should not affect my score.

No new updates to utilization or anything else. Is this drop because I do not have a car loan?

Nothing recent. My student loans and all other car loans have been paid off since 2018-2019.

You would need to compare your report to the report from the day before

Re: 20 point score drop

Did you pay all of your credit cards off and let them all report at a 0 balance? That's usually right around the range of points you can potentially lose when you go from a couple of cards reporting a low balance, to all cards reporting a 0 balance.
