WOW!!!!  I am not, for a second, disputing your experience, I just find it amazing that the drop of a collection derog that has already aged for 6 years can result in a decrease in its impact of anywhere near 50 points once it is dropped from the CR at 7 years!
If others have similar experiences, then this really, really emphasizes the high importance of cleaning up improper collections!  Once again, Wow!
Thanks for the sharing the experience.

I need to emphasize that this was my ONLY baddie, and the scores went up to 780-790 (except EX - the dreaded "Heloc is a CC" effect).  So it was a big hit on a high potential score.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: 24 month rule?

Just a general warning to all about posting your Scorewatch graph:

Long after you've stopped reading the thread, these keep updating away, showing all your scores for anyone to see. We do delete the graphs to avoid any potential future embarrassment. There have been some observed discrepancies, shall we say, between posted scores and long-forgotten posted graphs.

scrambling, I'm going to try to remember to come back and remove your graph in a week or so, if you don't do so first. Just wanted you to realize that we do this for everyone's protection. Not saying that you would be posting incorrect scores!!!

But that is a very cool hop in your graph line. Smiley Happy
