I found that the ding for my new inqs came about 5-6 days after they posted. I was feeling pretty smug there for a bit.
Also, if you already have a bunch of inqs, a few additional ones might not change your score.
But definitely, you must always change your "target" score to your new score whenever you get an alert. You can reset it now, but it's possible that it will have missed this particular trigger.
