35 FICOs lost (0 > 93% util)

My Freedom is my lowest limit card, and I've been putting pretty heavy spend on it to see if I can nudge Chase into raising the limit (alas).   I decided to let it post maxxed out to see what would happen to my score since I'm running out the clock on my n^th free trial on Experian.

0 to 93% -35 F8, but only -12 on F2 (y'all know how I feel about F2)

My TU FAKO dropped 71pts, and EQ FAKO dropped 81 pts (but on CK, there were other changes and increased utilization, so .. who knows)

The only other major thing is that it took me from AZE9 to AZE10 (69 -> 77% of revolvers reporting), I don't know if that's a factor, too (of course).   Agg only went from 3 > 4%, so I don't think that factored in much if at all.

Numbers for the curious (USB has not reported my CLI yet):

@calyx Yeah 8 is harder on utilization, that was one of the changes, whereas its not as sensitive to # of accounts with a balance reporting. How many accounts with a balance do you have reporting vs. revolvers?

@Anonymous- the only other account posting a balance is an autoloan loan, which I didn't include, but is in the chart.

@calyx is that 14 revolvers plus a car and SL? SL is closed? I don't know what webbank is actually. (Trying to figure your change of accounts with a balance in percentages.)

Re: 35 FICOs lost (0 > 93% util)

My apologies @Anonymous

13 open revolvers, one open car loan.

1 closed revolver, 1 closed student loan.

The grayed out accounts are closed but still on my file - one revolver, and one student loan.

The open loan I have is auto at 68%
The white account is my AU.

Webbank is Dell Financial/DFS - so a store card/charge card.

Comenity is not a store card (AKC visa) but Synchrony is (sewing & more)

The rest are standard revolvers (AMEX is the BCP not a charge)

Hope that helps!

Doesn’t seem like you crossed any thresholds on number of accounts with a balance either.

I think that 35 points sounds overall pretty reasonable for the file changed noted.  Thanks for providing the data on it!

Re: 35 FICOs lost (0 > 93% util)

And for anyone curious:

I lost another 2 FICOs yesterday when my AU posted at 10% utilization.

I gained 36 FICOs this morning after my Chase posted back at 0% (I don't mind utilization and usually let it roll, but that 93% was making me too twitchy, as I thought it would - thank goodness it was Chase and I had the luxury of playing with it).

Re: 35 FICOs lost (0 > 93% util)

What was the AU account utilization previously before the 10% reported?

From what you said it looks like event X dropped your score 35 points and reversing event X raised your score 36 points.  What do you attribute the 1 point differential to?
