i got my first card in feb so it should have been 6 months as of today, but i still have no score. ![]()
i'm starting to worry because from what i have read, you are meant to get the score between midnight to 1am soon as the 6th month kicks over... and here it is 1:30am on aug 1st and still no score! i was watching the clock all day like it's new years eve for nothing.
some people on the forum here said that only the months matter, so i thought i was meant to have a score on aug 1st... do i need to actually wait until the 6th statement closing date? or do i need all 3 buearus to have 6 months of activity? because my card hasn't been reporting to equifax at all. it's only a 2 buerau card. i added a 2nd card that reports to all 3, but its only been active a couple months.
i checked it again after 2am, and again now in the afternoon, still no score.
What are you using to check so often?
i was checking on the cct/experian site and the discover scorecard site and both keep saying no score. i called up discover since one of my cards is with them and they think i need to wait a week for the 6th statement to cut, and/or wait til the 20th of the month since that's when they say discover usually updates scores. they don't really know for sure, they're just guessing.
When you log into those sites, are you pulling a new copy of your CR? The date of the report should be listed. Many of those sources only update every so often... for example, Discover's creditscorecard is once per month, so if it updated on (say) the 15th of July, you won't see it update again until the 15th of August; any sign-ins prior to that will simply show your data (no score) from the previous pull on the 15th of July.
You need to get a fresh pull. Have you used creditscore.com yet? You can get a monthly EX Fico 8 from them as well. If you haven't signed up there yet and do so today, you'd get a fresh pull as of today, 8/2/19, which may contain a Fico score.
thanks for telling me about needing to pull a new report, i thought these sites gave you the scores without that hassle, i just did a new $1 cct trial and it gave me the scores!
707 on EX
714 on TU
none on EQ because they only see a 2mo old card.
no improvement at all in terms of prequal offers, i thought i'd see more offers once i had a score.
actually maybe there is some improvement, i just got a prequal at cap1 for the venture card which has a 5k min limit.

Glad you were able to see them! You'll probably see more prequals once you reach 12 months of credit history. 6 months is of course very limited and not many lenders are into profiles that young... although Cap One is as you found out above.
