7 years?

Hello!  I am new to the Forums.

I have a question regarding the 7 year rule and negative credit history.  My 3 reports do not report the last activity as the month paid.  It shows last activity months after the last pay.  The reports also indicates paid as agreed.  I am aware that this may be paid, charged off etc.   The last activity date is months before? If it is the later 2/4 accts should have fallen off Oct'08!  Woo Hoo!  Any suggestions, and was this message clear?

Thanks,

Vegasgrl

Welcome to the forums!

Ignore the DOLA date as it has nothing to do with or when a TL drops. You need to go by DOFD. It usually isn't listed, but DOFD is the date when your account first goes bad. If you pull your CR directly from the CR, you'd see that first 30, 60, etc. That first 30 day late wiith lates followed behind that is your DOFD.

If you were to pull your EX and/or TU CRs directly from the CRA, you'd sometimes see a drop off date. Count backwards by 7 yrs and that would also be the DOFD.
