A question about Transunion credit score

Hi financialdave and welcome. I'm going to split this off to start a new thread since this one is several years old. All I've changed is the title.

Why do the people at TransUnion put out a score that is said to have a top range of 900, instead of the 850?

Re: A question about Transunion credit score

The scores available from the TU website are called VantageScores and only a few lenders use them. Their score range is from 501-990.

These VantageScores are not TU FICO scores.

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782
