I tried searching, but I didn't see a whole lot. I'm guessing that's because we don't really know, but does anybody have a pretty good feel for the major AAoA breakpoints? Are there any substantial boosts / drop offs at certain milestones? Several of my credit tools reference 5 yrs 11 months or 6 years. I'm assuming there is something to that. My AAoA is only 1 Year 7 Months. It's been just over 11 months since I opened my most recent account. I'm planning a short spree which, in additional to my new mortgage, will reduce my AAoA to somewhere around 11 or 12 months. I'm largely inquiry free and I know I'll take a bit of a hit there. I'm not thinking I'll see much of a point change from account age since I'm under 2 years anyways. I'm thinking open the lines now and let them grow together.
I don't know the answer to your question, but I'd take a hard look at the bucket angle.
I expect that the AAoA breakpoints vary with the bucket, and since there are around a dozen buckets, this might make things complicated.
Here's one thread on the subject:

2 years is the big obvious one (since anything below that is rounded to 1 year).
Beyond that anecdotally there seems to be a 2-5ish year one, beyond that in my estimation is just coloring inside the margin because of diminishing returns. Hard to tell with anything really because most of the people on the forum have busy reports while they're here, and with lots of changes going on it's hard to isolate any given thing and say AH HA!
