AAoA Scoring Points?

Have we figured out the AAoA scoring points?   And also, how many points are they generally worth? My reports show my AAoA to be in the 3.xx range (some high, some low). I'm wondering if my next point is at 4 or 5 years and what's after that?

Re: AAoA Scoring Points?

You cannot assign a set amount of points to only AAoA.

AAoA is only one factor under the overall umbrella of length of credit history.

Oldest line of credit is also included under that category.

FICO has not disclosed the relative weighting of those two components.

Additonally, while length of credit is disclosed as being approx 15% of scoring, that percentage varies based on scorecard categorization, or "bucketing."

It is an average category weighting for all consumers, and not a fixed weigting.
