AAoA, old account, and the effect of new accounts

Here is my situation.  My EQ account shows 11 revolvers.  Oldest account 28.5 years.  AAoA 8.3 years.  TU and EX have 9.  Oldest account is 10.5 years with AAoA 5.6 years.

This month I went on an app spree and opened 4 new accounts.  The new accounts are not factored into my AAoA noted above.

The inquiries from the app spree didn't affect my TU or EX scores at all.  My EQ took a small, 2 point hit.  I'm currently rebuilding and I figure the increase in credit lines will improve my scores a bit.  After opening 4 accounts and closing 1, my available credit will go from $14,400 over 3 accounts, to $31,500 over 6 accounts.

I know the new accounts will tank my AAoA, which is already not that good.  So I've been trying to think of ways to improve.  Long ago (early 90's, maybe 25 years ago) I had an AMEX green card.  I've read that people who re-apply and re-open cards with AMEX often have the card backdated.  Would applying for another green card be a helpful way to help my AAoA?  Is this something that would be worth trying?  Thanks for any insight you can provide.
