OK, so, before I update my signature line, I had to post this. I just pulled my TU Fico score here and it came back as 849!!! There is no way my score could have increased from the high 600s to 849 in just a month, could it? The indicators have not changed since my last pull. What is helping and hurting my score is the same. Account info is essentially the same as Equifax, and my ScoreWatch Fico is unchanged. Is this a glitch via TU? Should I go on an app spree with TU pullers? ![]()
*looks cross-eyed*
ETA...Congrats!!

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem".
LOL.....congratulations!
i keep reminding people that this fico stuff is a joke. thats why coming here asking people questions about what will happen if you this or that is a waste. no can predict what will happen with your credit and score. if you would have asked this question about would your score be this high 2 months ago someone would have told you no way. theres people here with no baddies that doesn't have scores that high. so i would keep a eye out and maybe its worth trying app somethere that uses trans just to see if its even close to what your looking at here. who would ever guess going from high 6's to over 800. so keep us posted if that changes or you app somewhere and it comes close to what you see here. oh, and by the way congratulations!
MyFICO did this on purpose... your score is inflated by 200 points so your actual score is... 649!!! So from those working at MyFICO to us consumers... APRIL FOOLS!!!
Ah, you spoiled my punchline. April Fool's! ![]()
Very Coool.

FICO scores are hardly a joke, and treating them that way is a good way to wind up in serious financial trouble. While no one can calaculate their exact FICO score if you do this or that, we can give someone a good idea of what will happen to their score point wise, if their last derog drops off or they pay down their CC debt. At minimum we can predict that a score would go up or down.

Some things might seem counterintuitive but by and large FICO gets it right.
