I used to be an AU on my wife's Chase CC. About a year ago she took me off. Our balance was $ 0 for a long time and then recently she charged $ 45.
Well, now Experian is reporting it on my CR, none of the other two are. It reports a balance but does not give me credit for the CL.
So I have two issues:
1. I am not an AU so it should not be on my CR at all.
2. If they are going to report the balance shouldn't they give me credit for the CL also.
What should I do?
I've told my wife to pay off the $ 45 balance so that is one thing I know we could do.
Thanks,
If you are truly an AU, then the full credit history from her account should appear in your credit file. It is not a pick-and-choose reporting.
If you dont consider yourself to be an AU, and want it removed, file a dspute with the CRA under FCRA 611(a) on the basis of reported information not being yours.

Chase may not have removed you as requested. It sounds like they didn't. I would contact them and find out what is going on.
