AZEO Questions

Hello everyone.

I recently came into a little "back pay" money and by the end of this month all my accounts will be at zero, so I plan to try the AZEO method I've been reading about.

I thought I read that "store" cards don't fall under the AZEO umbrella. Do gas cards? I have a Shell card that is strictly the gas card not a cobranded MC. Also, is Fingerhut considered a "store" card?

Thank you in advance.

Current Lim/Bal

Cap One  2100/0

Cap One Wal-Mart  2250/1100

Discover 1800/0

USAA Amex Sec  500/0

Shell 400/0

Fingerhut 1500/0

Kohls 300/0

All 3 bureaus low 600's due to years of neglecting credit...all old collections are at zero balance, paid in full, last 12-18 months only 1 late (2 days)

Re: AZEO Questions

It's great that you got all your debt paid down. AZEO is factored on revolving credit... You'll want to allow one of your cards to report a small balance to avoid the all zero penalty.

Cobranded store cards are fine to use such as a Best Buy Visa or Home Depot Mastercard. It is just the pure play store cards that are limited to use at a store that may not count.

As a general rule it is safest to use a so called "bank card" which includes Discover and AMEX revolving credit cards. However, AMEX no preset spending limit charge cards do not count as revolving accounts.

Not sure about gas cards. However, since the Shell card is not cobranded, it might not. If you are unsure whether or not one of your cards will count, test it! The same applied for store cards - test it if you want to know with certainty.

Re: AZEO Questions

Store cards and gas cards can't be relied upon as the balance-reporting card in AZEO.

Thank you everyone for the clarification you provided. I can now jump into AZEO and garden for a while. FB_IMG_1704588040120.jpg
