Hi All! I want to switch up which card I use for AZEO. Did I read correctly somewhere on the threads that Chase isn't a good card to use to report a balance? I know it was mentioned that CU cards may not yield the same results, but wasn't sure about Chase.
Thanks for your feedback.

Chase reports $0 balance after paid, wouldn't work for AZEO

@credit8502020 Chase works for me as a bridge between other cards, make sure to pay after statement closes and that another card has a balance.

The only problem with using a Chase card is that, unlike other cards which report the balance once a month, if you pay a Chase card down to zero it will report a zero balance right away. If you never pay it down to zero then it's not a problem using it as your balance reporting card.

@GZG Thank you for your reply. Is there a reason why someone wouldn't just let the balance report and then pay it down to zero after it reports? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something...

@Yasselife Thank you for your reply. Can you provide more details regarding what you mean by a bridge between other cards?

@SouthJamaica Thank you for your reply. Great! This is really good to know. Based on data points you know or have experienced, is it still the case that Chase or another bank will work "more efficiently or better" than a NFCU or another credit union card?

In my experience, no, credit union cards work just like bank cards.
There have been claims by some members of a credit union balance not being counted, but I have a hunch that if it did occur it was with one of the smaller credit unions that has their credit card transactions managed by an outside company.

It's because the FICO algorithms, especially the older ones, like to see a lot of zero balances.

@SouthJamaica Ok. Thank you! I'm curious to see the difference once I test it.
