For any of the folks who might be having some uncertainty about whether a key account (in this case their Alliant SSL) is reporting to EX, I suggest you pull your full report via annualCreditReport.com (though if you are curious to see the Aug 31 update, you might choose to delay till Sept 10).
There used to be sound reasons for being hyper-careful about not burning that one ACR report unnecessarily, but now there are so many ways to get free reports from all three bureaus, there's no longer a reason for most people to be stingy about it. Indeed, this is one of the rare situations where a true ACR report might give you insight into what's going on. I admit to being baffled as to why one lender's accounts are not appearing on this one product's rendering for one CRA, but it sounds like this is the case.
If you need peace of mind, do an ACR pull now or around Sept 10. That's my thought. I wpuld recomend waiting, however, until Karma or other tools are showing you that your account is appearing as it should for EQ and TU
I just wanted to clarify for everyone so there is no confusion. Alliant has reported the loan correctly to Experian. The issue lies with the free experian monitoring from experian.com, and from experian's Creditchecktotal website. These site are not displaying the Loan. They do display the loan for EQ and TU. Now, I have no real way of knowing if the Fico 8 from CCT is taking into account the new loan (even though it is not displaying). Based off my score increase of 44 pts on experian, that occured around the same time I got alerts from CCT that a new account was added to TU and EQ, I am assuming that the FICO 8 score is inclusive of the Alliant loan.
Basically, the issue is CCT and other experian products are not displaying the loan, even though it is in fact on my experian credit report. It is really odd because these products are owned by Experian. I will try to call in to experian, not alliant, tomorrow and see what they tell me. I wanted others to be aware of this so they don't call into alliant unnecessarily.
EDIT: All of that posting, and then now it is showing up on todays refresh........lol. Also, my score went up from 697 to 713!
Thanks Palmdale,
What exactly is CCT? You can definitely tell I am a newcomer....Also I am a subscriber to MyFico, and my scores have been going down (according to myfico) due to changes in my credit card balances. The thing is, none of my cards are even close to 10%, one is about 5% and the other 2 are less. Also I thought I could only get scores and a report every 3 months? I think I am more confused than ever. I paid my Alliant loan down to 43$ today. Will that be reported this coming month? Thanks also to the other posters on this thread, it's been a great help....

www.creditchecktotal.com (CCT) Is a website owned by experian that provides monthly FICO 08 scores for EQ, TU , EX and daily FICO 08 Scores for EX. It costs $30 monthly, but if you attempt to cancel usually they offer you 1/2 off ($15) for like 2-5 years.
If you have the myfico subscription for $29.99, you get all of the fico score versions updated every three months. You get monitoring of your FICO 08 score daily when a change occurs to your account that is included in what is monitored. I found that myfico monitoring always lagged a few days for updates, but I did like the product while I used it, but I decided I didn't need to pay that much, and I wanted to freeze my credit reports. If you have frozen credit reports MyFico quaterly updates don't work, and the daily monitoring will not work on experian.
well that was fast. all this was done via email. very simple and easy going to set up. submitting payment of $420 today. you guys are so awesome, as is this place!

Equifax just showed Alliant ss. Took nearly a month. The other two reported shortly after the 1st.
Are you certain that you mean EQ? Everyone else has been identifying Experian as the one on which the Alliant loan was taking forever to appear. Also, on Aug 13 you said that it was Experian that was the CRA that was taking forever.
So it looks like my first auto pay is scheduled for 10/1. No problem with that. As I said before I paid it down $80. My question is if I have 509 available in my savings, can I pull maybe $400-$450 out of it? Reason being I have accounts that earn 5%. Thanks!
Sure. It it says you have money that is "available" then you can definitely withdraw it.
There are also some easy ways to make money by opening bank accounts and getting bonuses. Last year I think I made about $2000 doing that.
