Age of Oldest Revolving Account Data Points AoORA

As per request of @Anonymous and hopefully new notes for @Anonymous it has been brought to my attention that this is New News and neat Data for people that have a revolving account hit 2 years, 2.5 year and in March 2021 I will be adding 3 year DP's if people want to follow and Remind me because I have Old Timerz XD..      (now on a side note there is a Score Card Reassignement for Oldest Account turning 3 years which may cause a Drop which I learned the hard way LOL) ((unless it's a revolver and then it's because of the oldest revolver metric)).

My oldest Revolver is my Ga's Own Credit Card from a local Credit Union at the 2 year mark of having it I had a 6 point GAIN on EX with No changes March 1st 2020 ((For the EQ and TU it is hard to say as they reported later in the month so for EQ there was a 5 point gain on the 13th and TU a 3 point gain on the 6th but I don't necessarily want to include those two as since they are later in the  month it would have been after some things reported/updated and therefor could be factors in increase or decline not like if nothing changed))

...and for 2.5 years with NO CHANGES there was a 2 point GAIN on EX ((But again the same for EQ and TU they are reported later so it's hard to say if other things likely played in those changes with EQ dropping 1 point on the 5th and TU gaining 4 points on the 8th...again I would say take the EQ and TU with a grain of salt but just wanted to put my DP's for those but when I checked the EX there were NO shifts/changes for UTL, Inquiries, no address changes, no Balance shifts etc they both show the Same Details for the last day reporting to EX and the first reporting of the next month! for the 2 year and 2.5 year mark)) Smiley Very Happy

Thanks @Girlzilla88 for posting that data! I'm 1 week away from AoORA 2yr 0mo on December 1st, with AoOA at 3yr 0mo.

I have an Experian subscription with daily reports in addition to myFICO Premier with monthly 3Bs. I'm hoping that AoORA is the real trigger for the 3yr 0mo drops and that I'll see some score gains across most of the 28 FICO scores.

If I get the previously reported -20pt drops at AoOA 3yr 0mo, well....no big deal. I'm not looking to apply for anything for quite a while anyway.

@Anonymous When @Girlzilla88 's oldest account, a loan, hit 3 years, she saw a drop due to scorecard reassignment. We've seen it with both revolvers and loans being the oldest account turning 3 years old.

We also have the data points from you and calyx showing age of oldest revolving account being the oldest offers more points. We now have evidence of thresholds at 24 and 30 months for AoORA.

I posit you will experience scorecard reassignment, but again it doesn't necessarily mean a drop, its profile specific imo, and with your age of oldest revolver increasing, that's another factor that would increase your score in the grand scheme of all the increases and decreases that are combined in scorecard reassignment.

jmho.

@Anonymous   Yes as @Anonymous   Stated I had a 28 point drop when my 3 year Oldest Account hit but that was in fact the Car Loan being my oldest.     My Oldest Revolving will hit 3 years March 1st 2021.   Smiley Very Happy

@Girlzilla88: Oh now I see. You probably made that clear in the other thread and I missed it completely.

Was that car loan still open? If not, how long had it been closed?

My hopes and dreams of seeing score improvement next week have been crushed. Well, at least I'll be able to provide a report on the changes to all 28 FICO scores at AoOA 3yr 0mo.

I'm not sure if I can deal with EX 8 dropping -20pts. lol Costco liquor section here I come.

Re: Age of Oldest Revolving Account Data Points AoORA

@Anonymous     It was closed off as I refinanced it December 2018, but it was Opened on November 2017.  Smiley Very Happy     So the original only reports November 2017 to November 2018 and it closed out and the Refinanced one starts reporting December 2018 to current Smiley Very Happy

And LMAO it really does depend on all that is on your information to I suppose, but keep in mind also my other ones like TU and EQ didn't really budge lol just EX took the big hit :/

Re: Age of Oldest Revolving Account Data Points AoORA

@Anonymous @Anonymous    As Promised I haven't touched my Credit for new Card or CLI or anything and I tried my darndest to keep my UTL 66% the same (which it is still saying 66% today on EX) so it would stay even from Feb to March LOL.     Inquiries look the same and I didn't pay off anything to make sure to keep changes to a minimal.     My EX went up today by 2 Points XD      *Mini Victory*      So I believe that is the 3 year DP you were wanting for Revolving Account Smiley Very Happy     I will have to wait until the 14th or whenever the others update but for that it will be harder to tell since likely they will show up in the next 5-10 days so there may be other factors involved but at least we have a positive move for RA hitting 3 years Smiley Very Happy

@Girlzilla88 so it looks like 3 years isn't much of a threshold for age of oldest Revolving Account on your profile for EX anyway.

Further supports the scorecard change is age of oldest account though. Congratulations on the couple points though, every point counts and good job testing keeping everything consistent! Thank you for your contributions!

@Anonymous yeah looks like the 2-year age of oldest revolver is a much better award, which offset your scorecard change, I'm sure. I guess you don't have a lot to look forward to at 3 years age of oldest Revolving account though, unless the awards here were small being profile dependent. But we still got two more bureaus to go so...
