Agg util percentage

Hello, FICO pros. Concerning how util percentage is calculated, is the amount always rounded up to the next whole number percentage point?

I'm trying to determine if say, 5 bucks on a single CC, even on 20k worth of total agg CLs, would be calculated by the algorithm at 1%, or simply rounded down to 0.

Thank you!

Re: Agg util percentage

It would round up.  Any non-zero small reported balance constitutes 1% utilization on a 5-digit limit account.  The key word is reported though.  Some creditors will forgive a very small balance (say a buck or two) and report $0, thus resulting in 0% utilization.

Re: Agg util percentage

Ah ok good point, thank you.

Then 8 bucks should do it 8/2600 for 1%.
