Re: All Zero Penalty to AZEO

Please calculate your dates with AU and without the authorized user account and report back.

Then we’ll see if we can figure this out

Re: All Zero Penalty to AZEO

I'm not the OP I was the one commenting on point gain at AAOA 4 years 10 months.

I don't know if you are asking me but I do have an AU account that is over 30 years old and EX data for aging does not include my AU account and the data that I just gave and I dont think for FICO 8 that AU accounts are accounted for on aging.

Yea I will double check my report and recalculate AAOA but I'm certain nothing else has changed. I dono it's just interesting how this scoring works

Current 2023 FICO 8 score - 760 (EX) 758 (TU) 762 (EQ) (FICO 9s seem to be significantly higher)
Starting score - 530
Discover it - $4,200
Citi Custom Cash - $6,600
CFNA Firestone - $3,200
Amex BCE - $2,500
Mission Lane - $1,100
Chase slate (AU) - $3,000
Chase Freedom Flex - $11,100
Lowes Advantage card - $10,000
PNC poop points- $4,500
2 student loans 93% paid off
AMEX loan only 7% paid off so far
Total current Utilization among all accounts- 20%

Thank you for sharing @Anonymous .  I know this post isn't recent, but it is soooo helpful as I'm trying to get a true understanding of AZEO and utilization techniques.

@Egaffne2 I apologize for whatever reason I did not see your above post. I don't know if the notification didn't come through or what. But I just got this notification so now I see it.

Yes I was talking to you (I accidentally said OP). you referred to getting your ages from Experian and they have two different places that they show age, one includes authorized user accounts if you have any, and the other does not.

As for version 8, sometimes authorized user accounts factor, sometimes they do not. it depends on whether the anti-abuse portion of the algorithm catches them. There is a way to test and it's explained in the Scoring Primer linked at the top of my signature.

so did you ever calculate it with and without AUs and what would've been the threshold if it was counting the authorized user account?

and we have been collecting the thresholds and data points as best we can, they are also in the Primer.
