So I just got my free Experian credit report and noticed that there are 3 inquiries listed. The most recent is from AMERICAN EXPRESS (I recently applied for BCE) and then YARDI RESIDENT SCREENING (my apartment complex). But there's a third from September of last year from AMEX. The BCE I just got approved for is the first Amex card I've owned; is this just a mistake? And if so, should I request the inquiry be removed?
EDIT: I'm also not seeing my BCE show up in my report yet, even though my Sallie Mae is reporting (which I applied for 8/30 instead of BCE on 8/14). Is this normal?

Not sure about the earlier inquiry from Experian. It's possible that it's a mistake but the only way to know for sure is to file a dispute.
Its perfectly normal for the Sallie Mae to be reporting. Barclays often reports a new card even before the actual card is in your possession. As for Amex, they can take 2-3 months before that card will appear on your reports.
Do you think it's worth disputing? It's currently only 1 of 3 hard inquiries...
