Re: Amount of Debt from Fair to Good to Fair?

I have 8 CCs.  The 2 with the highest Util % were the ones I just opened for BTs into.  Here are the breakdowns with Util % and limit.

1.  WF Active Cash (new card 0% APR) - 99% of $16,000

2.  FNBO Evergreen (new card 0% APR) - 95% of $6,300

3.  WF Home Pojects - 25% of $7,800

4.  Lowe's Advantage - 16% of $33,000  ($6,000 of the previous balance was BTed to FNBO)

5.  Cap 1 Venture - 2% of $33,000

6.  Discover IT - 1% of $20700  (trailing interest remaining as debt was BTed to WF Active Cash)

7.  Cap 1 QS - 0% of $10,000

8.  Barclay Cash Forward - 0% of $1,600

I think the reason it dropped from good to fair is that you now have 2 maxed out accounts. Individual account utilization is at least as important as aggregate utilization.

If the change was due to maxing out the 2 new cards, I'm OK with that.  I'm making payments to cut the balances down pretty fast.
