You might see bad change to not good at the six month mark.

My amount of new credit indicator changed to "very good" when all my new stuff hit one year.

These first-screen indicators (Payment history, Amount of debt, Length of credit history, Amount of new credit) are interesting, but pretty vague. Although it's nice to see the colors change to bright green and eventually dark green, I pay more attention to the "Understanding Your Score" section. The negative factors on the second screen (and to some extent, the positives) are much better clues as to how the scoring formula regards your credit data.

Re: Amount of new credit

I think that is the biggest lesson I have learned over time. Creditors like to see aged accounts so they can look at your payment history. As a account ages it's better for you and your fico score. That is why most people on here hate to open new accounts. Although sometimes you just have to do it many times.

Each credit file is different. Did any of the new accounts that you opened pull TU for the new account? This comment might be as much inquiry driven as it is new account driven.

Re: Amount of new credit

yes I have 3 inquires so far this year. I am currently trying to refinance on my mortgage. Quick question, if a company pulls( Hard Pull) my FICO  score and never gets back to us with a phone call or anything. Can you have that hard inquiry removed by sending a letter? Citimortgage pulled my credit report and after that the person never got back to me or anythin. So far this happed twice with same company.

It sounds like they have permissible purpose to pull the report since you inquired about credit. A letter couldn't hurt you never know you might get lucky.
