Re: Anyone else on a plateau?

Doo-be-doo-be-doooo... (and yes, I do pull far too often. Curiosity killed the cat, and all that.)

At some point in repair and then gardening, you've done about all you can do, and you just have to sit back and let time do its thing.

For those of you who are posting directly from your SW page, be aware that these graphs keep quietly updating away, long after the thread is forgotten. I put mine through imageshack, so it won't keep updating.

I'd advise that you come back in a week or so and delete your graphs. Smiley Wink

Re: Anyone else on a plateau?

I'v been stuck on 698 with EQ for 9 months.  No matter what I do.  It will not change.  Had an inq. fall off and still no change.  My BK is almost 9 years old and I guess they will hold that against me forever.

Last month I owed $3 total.  This month will be $1000.  See what happens then.

Re: Anyone else on a plateau?

Ok, EQ gave me a whole 5pts back I'm assuming for getting my revolving utility from 19% to 13% as far as what's reporting. They are all paid off, I'm just terrible at keeping up with statement dates!

EX gave me 3 points. TU doesn't like me since I opened my new accounts! (Sigh)

So some change at least, but wasn't really worth the pulls! Smiley Sad

Re: Anyone else on a plateau?

Very good point(Just sit back and let time do its thing).  After looking at the baddies on "Understanding your score," the only way to counter the baddies are to allow them to drop off via time or gw after gw after gw.

Re: Anyone else on a plateau?

I'm stuck here for 2 to 4 more years unless I fall back on old ways and trash my credit.  No 800's for me till then.

For me, 1% thru 9% total util produces the same score so you might not see a change unless $1000 is > 9%, in whcih case you may loose some points.  I went to 0% util in August and lost points.

Re: Anyone else on a plateau?

Once you have fixed all of the problems with your report(s). It is time to wait and let age do its thing.

The greater the average age of your accounts the better. So check back in about 15 years and let us know how your FICOs are doing.
