App spree question

I went on an app spree one year ago next month. I have been gardening since.  Should I expect a bump in my credit score at the one year mark?  Just wondering.

As your cards age, inquiries age, i believe it helps your score some. How much, not sure, lots of variables in play like your current utilization and other credit factors.

Re: App spree question

I would expect a score increase as new accounts and inquiries hit 12 months but hard to say what.

Re: App spree question

Thanks.  I have heard many people say that inquiries don't affect credit as much after one year so I was wondering if I would see a bump at the one year mark. Guess I will wait and see.

Re: App spree question

You may see a few points, but I wouldn't expect it to be significant.  From my experience, inquries lose almost all if not all of their sting within 6 months.  I suppose if you have a ton of them this could take a little longer, but a mini spree for me had my scores higher than they were at the time of the spree in about 5 months.
