Are there benefits to reporting my name as secondary on a Credit Card . . .

Hello.  Not sure where to go, but wonder if anyone has experience or can tell me if informing Experian of a Credit Card Account which isn't listed on my last Credit Report AND that I am involved with.  My score is 698, but I've been trying to get over the 700 mark for 6 months now.  I have 2 CCs with small available balances that I hardly ever use AND always pay-off each month (that I used them). Anyway - I ALSO have an Amer. Express account for my Business that I used me/my Credit score to get and both my Business name and my name are on the card and statements.  Anyway - I've had this account for over 6 months, have put over $6000 on it and have paid it COMPLETELY off each month.  They say that I do not have a Credit Limit and will never be "denied - regardless of the Amount being charged" as long as my "pay history remains as it is" (I assume since I pay it off each month).  Would it help or hurt if I write Experian/Equifax and inform them of this Card . . . kinda like when you report a previous job or address they are not aware of.  Also - Can I only send them mail if I have recently obtained a CR (with a reference #) or can I just send them a letter, striaght-out to inform them of the addition . . . assuming that is the best thing for me to do?  Any input will be appreciated as I just need 2 points to get "over the 700 hump!" <smile>  Thank you.

It would not help.  The CRAs will not enter account information based on a consumer assertion.  It gets on your CR only by way of reporting from authorized creditors, who report to the CRAs.

Contact the creditor, and try to get them to report it.  That is the only way.
